Those acorn thumps are pretty cute too. Noticeable, I know what you mean. I was letting my cat out a lot this weekend, and I was afraid he wouldn't have enough "farm" sense to skedaddle if the sky seemed to be falling. Those black walnuts could kill a small animal!
