Confederate violets, March 28
In the pasture at the farm, a whole group of these. I've always loved their veins. They're the most common violets on my family place. (I saw a few on top of the mountain two days later.)

We have Rue Anemone, which I think is also called Wood Anemone. It looks like the same plant. What a beautiful photo, thanks for pointing me to it!
