August 14: Night sky

I can step out the front door at night and see the Milky Way and the Perseids.

It's so much better here than in the city. For a lot of reasons, but that's a nice one.

I love being able to see it that way. I feel privileged, because I know how many people in the world can't anymore, at least not without a lot of effort.
