It's the first evening after the "fall back" for Daylight Saving here. It's strange to see the horizon blushing rose and fading to gold and navy blue, and realize that there are still so many hours left in the day.



My hummingbird feeder is empty; it's been at least two or three weeks since I saw any hummingbirds looking for a last, pre-migration top-up. I hope they're all gone now, on their way to Mexico or wherever they spend their balmy winters.
