November 19: Rolled petals

After looking at the exotic Christmas cactus blossom Wednesday, I noticed the mums and how different they are: small, tight petals, so symmetrical. I had never noticed how they curl in the center, like someone rolling their tongue, and then slowly unfurl at the edges.
