February 19: Spring Beauty

...and Claytonia virginica! These have such moist, delicate petals and stems, and they close at night and open again in the morning. When I was young and didn't know their name, I called them "snowdrops" because they were so white. (Some have a lot of pretty purple veins in the petals though.)
