Spring sky, March 25

It's been less of a Southern spring this year: cooler, less humid, fewer early season storms. Blue, blue skies with ragged white clouds, the trees still mostly looking bare, though if you inspect them closely you can see that tiny buds are swelling.

The sky is so pretty in this picture. It's almost 5 am here, and it is still dark outside, but for the past couple days, I have noticed there are some little birds that start chirping this early. They sound very small, like finches or sparrows. :)
