August 30: Lavender

Last week, taking notes about how my plants are coming along after my absence and their drought devastation, I wrote, "Lavender: really, most sincerely dead." I hadn't posted it yet, and I hadn't had a chance to trim away the poor grey-brown dessicated sticks of the plants. Well, yesterday I glanced at the pot, out in the rain, and noticed something. Maybe. It was hard to tell.
