August 7: Fog

It was a rainy day yesterday, a real rainy day. Not the cumulus and thunderheads that roll in, dump some rain (or not) and roll by, not really making a difference in the weather. This was a whole sky full of cloud cover. Including stratus. It was lovely. Humid, but not oppressively hot.



This morning, I woke early and outside was white. All white with fog. When I went out, it was that kind of air that almost makes you feel like you're drowning for a minute. Warm, fluid. Grey-green and grey-blue, like an underwater scene.
