November 13: Peak

I'm at the farm, and I think we're probably at the peak of the autumn leaves colors right now. As I was driving around town doing errands this morning, I could pretty much just stick my camera out of the window at any point and take a picture of pretty pretty trees.

Hooray leaf freckles! :) Do you know the Gerard Manley Hopkins poem about freckled things?

Glory be to God for dappled things
For skies of couple-colour as a brindled cow,
Rose-moles all in stipple upon trout that swim...

That's all I can get from memory now, but I memorized it for a class in college, and now whenever I see spots in nature, I think of it.
